The Challenge
The goal of the project was to develop an interactive game that reflects the diverse stories and conflicts encountered in everyday life in a public housing complex. The basis for the project was an existing film with a clear graphic design, which needed to be faithfully and engagingly transferred to a digital format. Bytewood was commissioned to transform these images and the underlying stories into an interactive experience and implement the technology. The result was an engaging and user-friendly game that brings these realistic situations to life in a playful way and actively involves users in the storyline.
Our Solution
Together with the project stakeholders, we decided on an interactive hidden-object image that gives users the freedom to decide which conflicts they want to resolve or what information they want to receive. Six exciting stories were developed that address everyday conflicts in social housing and playfully present solutions. At the same time, the hidden-object image offers the opportunity to discover interesting information about wohnpartner and even find the hidden community choir. The project was implemented as a web application and can be played directly in the browser – without any download or installation. It works seamlessly on both desktop and smartphone, offering maximum accessibility and user-friendliness.
